Margaret and Julie give an overview of the paper they presented and share feedback on the presentations they heard at the Museums Australia conference they attended on behalf of MEANZ in Melbourne in 2010.

Victoria discusses mentoring, and shares information about the joint NSTP/MEANZ Mentor Pilot Programme which took place in December 2010.

A series of short presentations by local educators about recent education programmes that operate ‘Outside the Box’ of their regular LEOTC ‘one-off’ school visits. Followed by a discussion amongst speakers and delegates about what constitutes best practice in museum education.
