Julie Noanoa

Ko Titirangi te maunga, Ko uawa te awa, Ko Te Aitanga-a-Hauiti te Iwi. Julie’s Iwi is Te Aitanga a Hauiti on the east coast of the North island, and she is also of Welsh descent. Julie is an education programme Developer at the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa, and has been at Te Papa for four years. She also spent a year working as an educator at City Gallery, Wellingon. Her first classroom teaching experience was in a primary school, where she taught for three years in a Maori language immersion unit. Julie is passionate about trying to make learning accessible for all people regardless of age, gender, culture, social background or learning style.

Louisa Preen

Louisa began her role in Museum education at Canterbury Museum in July 2005 after several years of teaching in the state and private sector and two years of teaching English in Japan. Prior to this she completed a Bachelor of Education in Science and a Diploma of (Primary) at Canterbury University and the Christchurch College of Education respectively.
