Margaret is the Education and Public Programmes Coordinator at Pataka Museum of Arts and Culture in Porirua. Margaret is a practising artist with a background in the visual arts as well as teaching art at a secondary level for 13 years. Margaret is actively involved in a variety of community arts programmes within Porirua City and is very dedicated to her own sustainable art practise. Margaret believes that innovation, ideas, knowing her community and networking are key elements in her role at Pataka. As the President of MEANZ, Margaret is very dedicated to museum and gallery education and is committed to our profession with advocacy and support at both national and international levels.

John was a primary school teacher for 15 years and has been the LEOTC educator at the Dunedin Public Art Gallery since 1997. He joined the MEANZ Council in 2009 and became treasurer in 2010.
